Ride Coordinator

Rob Beecroft

GWRRA #268283

In 1970, I rode my first motorcycle, a 1968 Yamaha DT-250 and was immediately hooked on the thrill of 2 wheels and a throttle. Since that date I’ve owned 15 dirt bikes and 3 street bikes. I currently own 2 dirt bikes, a 1981 Majesty 320 and a 2006 Beta 270. I have been an active member of the Victoria Motorcycle club for 24 years, where I gained enough proficiency to reach the Expert class (1985-1995) in both Observed Trials and Cross Country Enduro events.

After a long absence from riding on the street, I purchased a burgundy colored 2006 Honda Goldwing GL-1800, late last June. After a few rides on that awesome machine, I knew that my days of riding dusty trails or riding up rocky cliffs would only be on (very) rainy days.

I have accepted the position as Ride Coordinator, because I enjoy the camaraderie of group rides with the Chapter BC-V members. I look forward to many memorable excursions.
